Well, yes, it is But the "voice of the DNA" (the only companion she had in the research facility) tries to make it a problem for her... There is even a picture called "Inner conflict" in my gallery ^^ Additionally, the voice tries to make Xen's unrequited... affection into a problem as well, as seen in the picture, (Xenia herself actually doesn't mind that it's unrequited affection; she doesn't even expect those feelings to be returned, considering the nature of her... "beloved" (I don't like this expression ))

Which leads to the question on how she could develop affection for him:
As I'm planning to write a long FanFic starring both, in which Xenia develops affection for him with time, it would take time to explain since there are several reasons behind that It is not this whole unrealistic "love on first sight"-crap that happens very often in FanFiction, especially in OC x Canon stories; it wouldn't be even possible in my story because Xenia is initially extremely terrified of him... and she even stays terrified through almost the whole story, but manages to suppress this emotion later...
The reasons for her affection, in short version, are:
1. If it hadn't been for him, she probably would have died in the sewers (Xenia was almost starving, and the sewers were long and abandoned...) But even if she had found a way out alone, she still would have lived very bad... And since Xenia isn't an ungrateful jerk, she is really thankful towards him for admitting her to his mansion (even though saving Xenia wasn't his primary goal...) . This leads to her being deeply indebted to him of course. This debt if somewhat "paid" by offering her body for experiments and by serving as a... servant. This is also the reason why she agrees on being experimented on in the first place

2. He is the only person/vampire she knows personally, while she does not hate him. There are other people she knows, who she doesn't dislike either, of course, but those aren't so close to her...

3. Both have a lot of things in common, personality-wise.

4. With all of the things that had happened to her as a Diclonius (self-explanatory for those who have seen Elfen Lied ) , she needs an *anchor* in order not to become totally... *insane*. Similar to the situation with Yuno and Yukki in "Mirai Nikki", or Lucy and Kouta in "Elfen Lied"...

5. Unlike the humans in the facility, he treats her with respect and doesn't view her as a mere guinea pig... She is generally very useful to him. This gives Xenia the feeling of being more than a... test object.

All of those points mentioned will be elaborated on in the FanFic (If something sounds confusing, then it probably will be explained with the story x) )

Otherwise Xenia would get pretty... angry
